Join us for the final night of bidding for our Annual Charity Bentwood Boxes event. Artists will be in attendance, refreshments will be served, and you will be able to witness the frenzy of the last minute bids on these amazing steam-bent boxes. This reception will be held at Lattimer Gallery in Vancouver on December 3rd between 5pm-8pm.

Lattimer Gallery has the unique, warm atmosphere of a Northwest Longhouse. We offer a fascinating display of gold and silver jewellery, argillite carvings, soapstone sculptures, bentwood boxes, masks, totem poles, and much more. In our "longhouse" we also feature a large selection of original paintings and limited edition prints by many well known Native artists. We want you to be swept away by the selection and quality of art that we house here at Lattimer Gallery.

I really love this one. I love Ian Reid work since seeing it this summer at the MOA. If you receive this, you are truly blessed!

For the past nine years Lattimer Gallery has organized an event to help support the Urban Native Youth Association, a Vancouver organization which has been providing 21 prevention-focused programs and services to Native youth since 1988. UNYA’s work includes advocacy, community development, and providing youth with meaningful opportunities to provide input into their programs and services.

All of the work in the creation of these small cedar boxes was donated: the boxes were steam-bent and constructed by Métis/Cree artist James Michels; the promotion and collected funds were be donated by Lattimer Gallery; and all the artwork was donated by the artists. 100% of the proceeds were donated to the Urban Native Youth Association.

Boxes will be available to view online, November 19th
This year's auction will be held from Nov. 19th - Dec. 3rd
