New Year’s Celebration- Shambhala- Zipolite, Oaxaca Mexico

I have been.
I've been blessed.
That is how I felt after attending this truly beautiful ceremony. It touched my heart, my soul. I was so blessed my child and I could attend together. Even more blessed to know Gloria and Shambhala.

I am missing it tonight. I makes me sad. I know the momentous task that they all take on every year preparing the flowers, crowns, the decorations, food and just everything that goes into preparing this and on very little funds. I seriously do not know how Gloria makes it happen every year. She is AMAZING!

It's magic. Miracles make it happen or maybe we should say it's a MIRACLE! After you have been, that's what it feels like...like you have been blessed with miracles.

Every year I plan to get back but it isn't happening tonight...
As I write this from Kitsilano, Vancouver Canada,  the snow is really coming down.

So I send you love and light and pray that next year I will join you and that 2017 is a beautiful year, with love and many victories for peace and the environment.

And for you, I ask that you take a moment and send back the love they are generating tonight and let's heal this cRaZy mixed up world...for our children, and our children's children.

Happy New Year!!
Sending out love, light and peace!
Thank you Gloria!! Thank you!!

New Year’s Celebration

Our celebration consists of a ceremony to CLEAN OUR SPIRITS. Our true being is a pure spirit and this night we will try to give total expression to our humanity, united in LOVE AND PEACE. This is an offering to God: The Divine Intelligence.

We have chosen the essence of each philosophy and religion of the world. Because each of them has his own truth we respect.

The symbol of our soul is the flower, and we bring it to the fire with all the negativity that we have inside us in the form of a tree of life that we will construct during celebration.

Family Christmas with the Muppets- Classic!

Hadn't seen this in years...watch it, right to the end for a treat!

"Published on Dec 14, 2015
In this one-hour Christmas special, Fozzie Bear surprises his mother Emily on Christmas Eve by bringing the entire Muppet gang to her farm to celebrate the holidays. Doc and his dog Sprocket, who had planned a quiet Christmas, end up joining the Muppets in their holiday activities and preparations.

The Sesame Street regulars, including Big Bird, Bert, Ernie and others, join the festivities, but to Kermit's dismay, the only one missing is Miss Piggy, who has been caught in a snowstorm."

Signs: Eagles & the Moon

Well I haven't posted in 8 days!

How are YOU doing out there?  How is life treating you?  Have you had some really interesting happenings in your lives.

I have.

Many strange happenings and goings on.

We have powerful forces at work I must say. With all the cRaZy energy generated from just the whole Trump thing...the world has whiplash.

Pipelines, Indigenous Rights, Human Rights, Mother Earth Rights, #WaterIsLife, #MniWiconi, #Standing Rock, well I don't know about you but whoo eee, there's some strong opinions out there and a lot of unenlightened people who think the $$$ rules...

Now let's throw Christmas into the pot and BOOM!

Has the stress monster got you?

Families are just not jiving from what I am hearing and a lot of people are just buggin' in or buggin' out.  Forget the holly jolly happy family get together because no one is speaking to each other and if they are, it's an argument... sort of an analogy for what's going on in the world ...when you zoom out and look at the REALLY big picture.

Anyways, we are going to have a lovely quiet little Christmas,(let peace begin with us) and I have been getting in the spirit with the help of the greater powers that be.

Yesterday I had a very successful little shopping trip and on the way home connected with this woman who needed directions. Turned out we were heading the same way. She was going through some very hard times with the loss of a loved one and I could totally relate. Christmas is so hard the first year after you lose someone and every year after because you miss them so much.

We had a great chat. I felt our loved ones put us in each others path for a reason.
Later I had a fun little experience...

I saw Santa.

He was at Granville Island. I was looking for a gift and he was calling kids for storytime. He's so sweet, suggested we have a selfie together and then this lady offered to take it. (Thank you!! )

When I was walking home I saw how beautiful the mountains were, so I grabbed my camera and went out but clouds had rolled in and I couldn't see the mountains but then guess what!!

The eagles were there!!
Hurray! These are the best photos of eagles I have ever taken.

I have lots more, these are the best. It was hard to do, I wasn't using a tripod. I love my camera, it has a fantastic zoom and auto focus. I am going to make a video and maybe put the eagle and moon photos together and try to carve them.

And then this morning the beautiful moon in all her glory!!

Today I ran out to Surrey to drop off some gifts and WOW! they still have snow and it's COLD! Cold here in Kitsilano but no snow. The sun is shining and I love that. Okay will post more photos/videos soon.

Sending out love and light that good things are happening to you...Just to let your know...it was just after I had sent out a little prayer to help people who were missing someone this Christmas that I connected with this woman. Send out love and light to all and put your loved ones in bubbles of love this holiday season and keep everyone safe and happy!

My Carvings So Far

So we are almost finished the first semester.
Here are some of my carving designs and carvings I have done so far.

I am going through a lot of emotions right now. I am so tired, I have been dealing with a lot of personal issues related to the education system and feel like I am at a crossroads if I want to do the 2nd semester.

Many many thanks to Aaron Nelson Moody for his patience, humour, knowledge and wisdom. Very grateful to meet you and have you as a mentor. I have learned so much
