While the owners were screaming from their apartment that those were their bikes, the guy from the city used a chainsaw to cut down 3 bikes from the top of a pole. He would have taken them to, but a cleaning went out and told him to stop, we yelled out and told him to stop and the kid ran out and got his bike back. There are no bike racks in our neighbourhood, the building here won't let people tie the bikes up anywhere outside and has weird bike room hours. Vancouver City is not that bike friendly, obviously, and this is prime example.
Unfortunately my camera was full and ran out both times I started to video, but you can get the idea. Listen to Angel, she was very upset.
